Early Morning Pool Access Rules & Notices
As an early morning swimmer, you will often be the first to see the condition of the pool and/or pool area. As such, we ask that you report any safety issues or concerns immediately by calling the Five Oaks Office at (919) 493-1495.
Please note the following rules and notices concerning the pool and early morning access:
- There is absolutely no swimming allowed before dawn. We are not permitted, as per city ordinance, to allow members to use the pool after dusk or before dawn due to the lack of proper lighting.
- Absolutely no children are allowed inside the fenced area until the pool’s regular opening at 10am.
- Swim Team: Please note that our swim team often begins practice at 8am, mid-May through mid-July. During these times, one lane will be open for members for lap swimming.
- Swimming alone: We highly recommend that you do not swim alone. Five Oaks is a secluded pool and there may be no other members to assist you should you have a life-threatening situation at the pool as an early morning swimmer.
If you see something, say something: please report any violation of any of these policies to our office immediately.
Feel free to contact the office anytime with questions – and enjoy your swim!
