The Five Oaks Recreational Association is a “not for profit” corporation that was created in 1975 for the use and enjoyment of members who owned properties in the Five Oaks Neighborhood or who joined by membership from nearby neighborhoods.

If you have never heard of the Five Oaks Recreational Association, it is most likely because of our location. Our facility is located in an over 18 acres of wooded landscape and is nestled into the back corner of the Five Oaks Community.

Although we are conveniently located near most places in Durham and Chapel Hill, our grounds have the feel of a remote scenic park. Just have a sit by the 10 acre lake near the woods and you’ll see what we mean. Come by for a visit today – We’ll show you around!
