Folks, we are planning yet another highly successful yard sale at the clubhouse to be held on March 31st. Please check your schedules and let me know if you would like a table (or 2!) for this event. The particulars are:
Early bird SETUP Friday night, March 30th, from 6:30-7:30pm. Tables are first come, first served. I will be there to help move tables, as will other volunteers. There will be yard sale signs available for you to take home so that you can hang one or two on your way to the sale Saturday morning.Saturday morning Yard Sale, March 31st, from 8-11am. The doors will open at 7:30am for vendors and buyers. If there are buyers still coming in the door at 11am, I am willing to stay open later; you are free to pack up at any time. You might want to bring coffee, water bottles, breakfast, etc. for yourself…Tables cost $3 each for members and $5 each for non-members (to cover the cost of newspaper ads and signs). I will be available for payment both Friday night and Saturday morning. Please bring exact amount if possible!

Five Oaks offers an outside sales area to those who have furniture, and other large individual items, and do not wish to bring them upstairs. The clubhouse offers a handicapped ramp on the side of the building by the tennis courts that you can use to get items in if you do not wish to use the stairs in front.

Long-time Five Oaks Resident (and Hungarian-American), Judit Benedek would like to invite all Five Oaks Members to attend a Hungarian Festival right here in our community.  Judit is an active Member of the American Hungarian Club of the Triangle and they will be hosting a fun cultural event and fundraiser at the Five Oaks Clubhouse on March 25th starting at Noon.  Entrance to the event is free, but there will be wonderful Hungarian Food and Crafts for sale, so bring some cash to partake in the festivities.  There will be activities for Children and many fun cultural events throughout the day.

Toddler Play Time this Wednesday from 10am  to 11:00am in the Multi-Purpose Room.  Please bring a favorite toy for your child to share.  We have had a good turn out in the past couple of weeks and the kids are having a great time!!  Friends and family are always welcome to join any Five Oaks Member for these events!

Mark your calendars for every Wednesday as long as we have a host.  Currently, Rebekka Bowen is hosting the events.  Let us know if you are willing to host on a Wednesday or two.
